Several months ago I wrote a blog post about these funny little sayings Richard hears on his PBS shows, mostly Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. They must have a few new episodes, because today I heard a new one. It goes like this:
Clean up, pick up, put away.
Clean up every day!
When Richard shared this piece of advice with me, he said it as if it were a brand new idea…something he’d never considered before. I said, “Richard, that is a great idea!” And he said, “I know! Maybe you could try it!”
OK then. Richard is not a snarky person. He did not mean that in a snide or unkind way. He just really sees that I need some cleaning tips. Thank you, Richard. That is very helpful advice. I will try to keep it in mind. 🙂
Musings From the Grandma Chairs 
That Daniel Tiger, always dishing out tidbits of wisdom. Avynlee is a big fan and I love the little jingles because I can use them to get her to do things she might otherwise not do. “We’ve got to try new food because it might taste good.” But she has gotten smart and has learned to use them against me. I tell her she can do something by herself and she sings, “if you can’t do it alone, work together. It’s better to work together!” Touché little one.
That is hilarious! I’m glad he doesn’t live at my house! He’d sure put me to shame
